Zero to One

Zero to One is a title from the nonfiction category of business & careers. It is written by Peter Thiel and Blake Masters. Peter is a German American entrepreneur, political activist, and venture capitalist. Blake on the other side is an author, political candidate, and venture capitalist.

The narration of Zero to One is done by Blake Masters. The narration was quite dull due to the excessively soft voice of Blake Masters.

The next bill Gates of this world is not expected to build another operating system. The next Sergey Brin or Larry Page wouldn’t make another search engine. And the next Mark Zuckerberg wouldn’t come up with another social networking site. If you are just copying these guys for your success then you are just not learning from them at all.

It is quite easy to copy some given model than to come up with something new altogether. But when we come up with something new every time then we make the transition from 0 to 1. The act of creating something is singular and just as it is about the moment of creation. The result on the other hand would be something quite strange but fresh.
