The seventeenth book of the series is sheer evidence that how much fame the series has gained over the years among the fans. People listening to this series always remain hungry for more and more of the wickedness which the author Kresley Cole adds. It is like the author knows now what the demand of the public is. Endless Knight: Arcana Chronicles, Book 2, and Pleasure of a Dark Prince: Immortals After Dark, Book 9 are left very far behind with the launching of this book.

Robert Petkoff has also been seen in his true colors during the narration of this book with naughty feelings in it. Sian in the novel gets trapped into the love of a fey who in the end deceives him and leaves him alone. All Sian wanted after that was revenge but he wasn’t able to take revenge because the fey died. Since then a curse on Sian changes him into a monster instead of a lover.

This demon waits for a Millennia to see his beloved once again but the waiting is for the sake of revenge. Lila comes to the world once again in the form of Princess Calliope this time and Sian quickly reaches to her and traps her in one of his prisons.

The princess knows nothing about her past and the life she lived centuries ago so she shows stubborn behavior in front of her enemy. Later the truth gets unfold and the two realize that there was a lot that was kept hidden from both of them in their previous encounter. The enemy from their past also comes back to destroy their lives once again.
