When Breath Becomes Air

Paul Kalanithi is not a professional writer so if there is a thought that the author cannot be precise in his writing then it is an incorrect notion. This is the book that has won many awards and perhaps millions of hearts. Sunil Malhotra and Cassandra Campbel have also enjoyed narrating this book together because it is full of awesome thoughts. The author was a neurosurgeon and at the age of thirty six he was diagnosed with lung cancer there was no cure for it because it was at such a stage. At this stage, the author decided to give meaning to life.
He wanted to know what life truly is and the purpose of everyone being on the planet. The book is not weak at any point because it provides the true impression of a man who has lost all hopes of survival and still comes down strong on everything. Not everyone treats life in the same way when he is told that he has just a few days to live.

He had the skill to read his own medical reports and was able to predict his own remaining days in the world. This was pinching for him but he decided to remain positive. Though the author was never able to complete this book because he died before its completion but it has been a hit since that time.

Flying Lessons & Other Stories and American Like Me are also narrated by the same narrators but there is more enthusiasm in this one which clearly shows the liking of the narrators for the book. Listen to this book and you will get an experience of a lifetime.
