This is actually a memoir by Hillary Rodham Clinton, a book which she has narrated in her own voice because it is close to her heart. She wanted to show the people of the world how she felt when she was selected as a presidential candidate by a big political party and the way she lost in the end.

When the entire thing was going on, Hillary was not able to talk about all the things in an open way perhaps because she was not ready to face all the controversies that bravely. She tells us how her party was hit by scandals because she was standing against a really tough guy. Then there was interference from Russia in the election as well according to the author. She at first thought that she would not be able to bear a loss but when the thing happened after the result of the election, she found the courage in herself to stand strong. Running away or hiding from the result was not the solution to the problem so she faced everything confidently and on most occasions with a smile on her face. She wanted to tell the people that the Americans should start looking at all these political scenes more seriously than ever before. This was not author’s first experience because she has written The Book of Gutsy Women and Hard Choices. However, the author has touched on a more serious topic in this book and the book is about personal experience on most occasions which means that everything which the author talks about is based on truth.
