Urban Shaman is a contemporary romantic suspense novel. It is the first book in the Walker Papers novel series. The book is written by C. E. Murphy. She is an American-born author from Ireland. She is known for writing books in the romance and fantasy genres. Demon Hunts are one of the better novels of the author and so is Spirit Dances.

The audio narration of Urban Shaman’s novel is done by Christine Carroll. You will enjoy the narrator who brought the characters to life the way they were intended in writing.

Joanne Walker was spared exactly three days to completely learn about using her shamanic powers. Moreover, it was also about saving the world from the unleashed Wild Hunt. There were no worries and no pressure at all. Never mind any sort of lack of sleep, the perplexing new talent for healing herself from all of the fatal wounds, or as well as the enigmatic, talking coyote who used to appear in her dreams as well. If all of that was still not bad enough then in the three years since Joanne has been a cop, she was never seen as a dead body. But she had come across her second in as many as three days.  It all has been quite a bitch of a well. And the worst thing was that it wasn’t over yet. There was still a lot more to come.

Urban Shaman is a good mystery suspense romance novel that is swift-paced as well. You will enjoy this one with a likable protagonist where there will be magic and danger as well. This book will surely offer you a great literary setting.
