Unraveled

Unraveled is a romance fantasy novel. It is the 15^th installment in the Elemental Assassin novel series which is written by Jennifer Estep. She is a capable American author who writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance books. Capture the Crown is one excellent novel that Jennifer Estep wrote with a lot of heart and passion. You will also have an excellent literary time with her Last Strand novel in audio which is packed with an excellent story and great emotion.

The narration of this audiobook is done by Lauren Fortgang. She is a very talented and experienced narrator. Her performance in this audiobook was mind-blowing where her powerful voice made the characters sound larger than life.

Being the current underworld queen of Ashland, you might think that I (Gin Blanco) know everything related to a secret society controlling things. This was the case behind the scenes. I might just be the Spider who is one of the most fearsome assassins. But, all of the Stone and ice elemental magic of me has never done me any lick of good for learning about the Circle. Despite all my ongoing investigations, the trail is gone just as cold as the upcoming winter.

So, when my foster brother, Finnegan Lane get to know about a surprising piece of inheritance, we thought about skipping town for a place that is lesser dangerous. This relocation was planned for a few days only.

The overall story of Unraveled is superb. It is just that the abilities and the powers of the female lead characters don’t match with the prior books in the series. There was some issue with the character development.
