Three friends and ideal bachelors in the town have started thinking that marriage is not something they should think of. This does not mean that they don’t like women, it is the fear of a permanent relationship that tortures their minds a lot. Charlie has turned into a fine philanthropist and he has dreamed of nothing more when it comes to his success in his career.

Now he wants a bride but the perfection which he is looking for in a bride is hard to find. The second character which Kyf Brewer narrates is Adam who has become a lawyer by profession and likes to get engaged with young women all the time. Lastly, there is Gray who wants a relationship but the term family just haunts him. The three meet each other on a cruise during the summer vacation like every year.

This time it gets a bit different because they meet women who are bound to change their life. Danielle Steel has painted different women for each of the main characters. Charlie starts a relationship with a social worker while Adam gets tangled with a twenty year old hot girl. Gray falls in love with a woman who is well settled in her life and is a mother as well.

Thus the plot does not remain simple like Blue because the author is dealing with six characters. These characters think that their life will become accurate but that is not the case rather they start knowing the reality about their loved ones which they have to digest. We see characters with big hearts in Past Perfect but the three friends in this novel do not have that kind of heart and all of this change becomes more painful for them.
