The audio narration of The Winner novel is done by Frances Cassidy. This was a poor narration and that made a good story hard to finish. She was a charming 20 years old girl. She was also dirt-poor and was looking ahead to a better future, especially for LuAnn Tyler, her infant daughter. Things started to get better when her daughter was offered a $100 million lottery jackpot. The only thing that she needed to do for getting that money was to alter her identity and then leave the USA for good.

It was a kind of offer that she couldn’t dare to refuse at all but only until violence forced her hand and subsequently thrust her into an extremely harrowing game where the stakes were too high. It had huge money subterfuge. It was a price that she wouldn’t pay in full but only until she went ahead to do the unthinkable, and broke the promise which made her so rich.

This is a good book and it could have been better, even great if it was narrated well. The voice of the narrator had some sneer and that made this a frustrating experience for the listeners with this book. You may try to attempt it if you are willing to take the risk with the narration.
