Andrzej Sapkowski is a fine author who writes according to the expectations of the fans. He never misses a chance to impress the audience. This particular saga related to The Witcher is a pure sensation for everyone. If anyone could have narrated this kind of story to perfection then it was none other than Peter Kenny. The series portrays the scenario of war at first after which the real game starts.

The war is not only continuing on the outside but it is going on inside the palace as well in the form of conspiracies. The kings want to establish their dominance on the land for which they have been engaged in deadly wars for the past many years.

Geralt i.e the Witcher wanted to do something about the war but he is engaged in a much more serious mission that is linked to the safety of the true heir to the throne. It is Ciri who is not only the true heir to the throne but she is also the one who according to prophesy can save or destroy the entire kingdom.

The Time of Contempt and Baptism of Fire were talking about the end of the world and here the end has finally approached. In the middle of the story, Ciri gets abducted and though Geralt wants to save her she thinks that she is free for the first time in her life. Since her childhood, Ciri has never been allowed to live free, and now although she is abducted she is not asked to live in a narrow cell. She is free to move here and there according to her own will.
