The Three brooches is a romance fantasy novel. It is the sixth chapter in The Celtic Brooch novel series which is beautifully written by Katherine Lowry Logan. She writes excellent time travel romance fantasy books. The Celtic Brooch Series by far is her best work. You will be amazed at the quality of her writing which she has shown in The Sunstone Brooch novel. The Ruby Brooch is another novel that deserves to listen to in audio.
Teri Schnaubelt is the narrator of this audiobook and did pretty well in bringing the characters to life. She portrayed a good range of male and female voices expertly while providing distinct vocal patterns and personalities.
When Kit made a return back in the 19th century to her soul mate then Elliot thought that he will not be able to ever see his goddaughter over again. Then a hidden message from Kit got discovered in a painting that was 135 years old. Elliot must look to ignore the request of Kit for help or maybe look to go on and test the Legend of the Three Brooches.
Will the combined great magic of sapphire, ruby, and emerald will open new horizons to the past? Who would volunteer for the upcoming experimental trip?
David volunteers to go on that experimental trip but he along with Kenzie was expecting to have a baby.
Braham McCabe was the next volunteer in line to go. However, he died in 1869.
Kevin was another volunteer for that trip but he was struggling to recover from a gunshot that he received recently.
The author did a phenomenal job in blending the time-travel romance with an exciting action-adventure. The vocal performance by Teri is another great highlight of this audiobook.
