The Testaments

Margaret Atwood does not keep on bringing surprises to the audience rather she waits for the climax of the story where the drama really gets a twist. Much patience is required if someone is listening to Atwood’s stories as nothing is happening very quickly. Losing patience means that the person is losing focus on the story and he might not be able to enjoy it fully even if he understands it completely.

My Evil Mother type of books are not from the category that should be listened to in haste also young boys and girls might need the help of mature minds to understand this concept. Usually, young boys and girls are not able to understand the emotions that are so intense. Also, there is a serious talk about practical life and its bitter realities.

The Republic of Gilead was introduced in The Handmaid’s Tale and the story starts right from that spot once again. The two women were introduced in the previous part and now there is a third female character as well who is looking for her place in the world. Together these three women decide to face the circumstances bravely and they prepare their minds to get the job done at any rate.

There is a nice fluency in the narration done by Mae Whitman, Ann Dowd, Derek Jacobi, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The story will not take a break once it has started and it will end when the fate of these three primary characters will get decided eventually. Stopping at a point is considered as a stupid decision according to these women so they will not stop for anyone.
