The Starless Crown is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is the first book of Moon Fall’s novel series. The author of this book is James Rollins. He is the bestselling American novelist in the New York Times of multiple series. One of the best novels by the author is Kingdom of Bones. The same could be said about his Map of Bones novel. The audio narration of The Starless Crown is done by James Rollins and Nicola Barber. The narration was spot on and very enjoyable. The accent was clear and that made it easy to listen.

An alliance boarded on a treacherous journey that was meant to uncover many of the secrets of the past and also to save the world. The story starts with a gifted student who foretold an apocalypse. Her reward for that was only the sentence of death. She fled all of a sudden into the unknown and then drew into a group of outcasts. A broken soldier got hold of the weapons once again which had been forbidden for wielding and carving a trail that was back home.

Then it came to a drunken prince who stepped out from the shadow of his beloved brother and then claimed a resolution of his own. An imprisoned thief was also there who escaped the devastating dark and found a luminous aircraft. It was the one that would light a huge power struggle all across the world.

The story of this novel is fantastic with alluring characters. The narration was spot on as well. Overall, the experience of listeners with this book will be fantastic. The book for all these reasons is highly recommended.
