The Something Girl

The Something Girl is the second chapter of The Frogmorton Farm Series. This fantasy/ women’s fiction novel is written by Jodi Taylor. You will find her writing amazing fantasy-style romance, historical romance, and historical fiction novels. She was much appreciated for her work in Lies, Damned Lies, and History novel. Apart from this, A Second Chance is another stunning book that the author has written. The audio narration of The Something Girl novel is done by Lucy Price-Lewis. She was flawless with her voice acting for this audio novel and you will enjoy it to the maximum.

Its life was as usual as the Frogmorton Farm. That meant that the events had passed the eccentric and were galloping ahead to be entirely bizarre. Jenny once again struggled hard to keep afloat in the unforgiving seas of matrimony along with Russell, her husband. There was also an unlikely mix with them of Jack the Sad Donkey, Patagonian Attack Chickens, and the mysterious boyfriend of Mrs. Crisp. Those old favorites of course were still around. There was also Marilyn the Omnivorous Donkey, the ex-girlfriend of Russell, Franny, and the phobic Boxer.

So there was nothing much there as new, except the mysterious dogging the steps of Jenny If she didn’t know about things much better then she would swear Christopher who was her sinister cousin. She was last hurled by her wayward husband from her house. Christopher couldn’t be someone stupid enough to just come back and give it another try, or could he?

It is not a bad book but still not as good as the first one in the series. As far as the narration is concerned, it was the best thing about this audiobook.
