The Shell Game: A Fox and O’Hare Short Story

Janet Evanovich has written most of the books on her own and it is seldom that we find the author working with another writer in collaboration. Here it is Lee Goldberg has worked together with Janet and the team has worked quite fine in the creation of this thriller. The legendary narrator Scott Brick narrated the book so it is all classic about this book. Perhaps Visions of Sugar Plums and Going Rogue might not have this kind of variety because this book is the creation of two people with genius minds of their own.

A con artist named Nicolas Fox plans to get his hands on Klepper’s relics and he thought that it would be easy if he is given the chance to act as the security guard of those relics. He easily convinced Klepper of the thing but Fox wasn’t ready for Agent Kate to be with him as well.

Klepper also hired Kate for the job as well and now Kate and Fox were together. Both of them were working together but they had different missions in their mind which makes them rivals from the inside. Fox knows that he cannot do anything stupid as long as Kate is there because she is a smart agent with an eye for criminals.

The story goes up and down in emotions as the two rivals come close to each other. When they get time to spend with one another, they realize that they have something in common. The appeal is the first thing which they have for each other and they cannot deny it at any level. While the second thing is the love for art which they have in their heart too.
