The Sapphire Brooch

The Sapphire Brooch is the third installment in The Celtic Brooch novel series. This is a fiction novel which is written by Katherine Lowry Logan. The author is mainly known for writing time travel romance novels. The Celtic Brooch Series is her most renowned work. If we talk individually about her better novels then The Ruby Brooch is one of them. After this book, you will also like The Three Brooches novel by Katherine Lowry Logan.

The audio narration of The Sapphire Brooch novel is done by Teri Schnaubelt. His Scottish accent didn’t work well in the first chapter but this time, it was all fine. There was a Union soldier who risked almost everything for saving Abraham Lincoln. On the other side was a Confederate surgeon who raced through time to preserve the legacy of Abraham Lincoln.

Dr. Charlotte Mallory, a reenactor spent a lot of years perfecting the image of her ancestor. The ancestor, in this case, was Major Carlton Mallory a Civil War Confederate surgeon. In the mid of the 150^th-anniversary reenactment of the Cedar Creek battle, she was hurled right back in time and found herself landing in the center of the battle. From that point was catapulted into danger. It threatened her life and at the same time, it shattered her heart.

There was a lot of potential in the story of this novel but the author somehow failed to develop a link between the lovers. You might even fail to point out at what point or instance, they both fell in love. There was nothing wrong with the narration though as Teri performed way better in this novel.
