Suzy Jackson can really turn the course of any story by the magic of her voice and here she wasn’t asked to do too much hard work. The story and the characters were already perfectly poised by the writer of the story Jessica Khoury. The good and the evil side, both are well balanced here and that is the reason that the competition seems so much appealing. It is an institute that teaches musical magic and Amelia thinks that she is born for the thing. The girl has an inborn talent for music and magic but somehow she wasn’t able to perform accurately in her entrance exam. She got rejected and this thing broke her heart, then her luck favored her once again and the institute provided her with a second chance.

This time she succeeded but she is sure that her stay in the school would be temporary. There is a teacher who does not want to see Amelia’s face in the school and her roommate also wants to kick her out of the room and the institute. Moreover, the danger is coming i.e the type which was shown in books like Invent.

The institute is being attacked by an evil force and Amelia is the only one who can confront this evil and can save the school. The problem is that she has to remain a part of the school if she wants to help the institute and the people present in it. The girl didn’t want any of this stuff but she is not going to ruin the chance to prove herself worthy.
