The Medium is the first chapter of Emily Chambers Spirit Medium novel series. This is a romance and fantasy book which is beautifully written by C. J. Archer. The bestselling author has given some inspiring novels in her career where Murder at the Piccadilly Playhouse is one of them. On top of that, you will also enjoy her The Watchmaker’s Daughter as well.

The audio narration of this novel is done by Gemma Dawson. The performance was really good and it was equally appreciated by fans and critics.

Emily Chambers was a 17 years old spirit who was having some problems. In reality, she had a lot of problems. It appeared as if it was not enough to see the dead people as a definite social advantage. She also needs to be satisfied with a free demon and a charming ghost who were having a secret past. There was also a question about her parentage as well. She was born a complete year after the death of her father and there was no pale skin type there that could be associated with some other English ladies. Emily was a mystery and that was as much mysterious as the dead boy who was assigned to her.

The spirit of Jacob was not able to cross over right since the time of his death. It might be because he was murdered. All he knows is that he was assigned to Emily by the administrators of the Otherworld.

This is a book that deserves a chance to be tried. The story and its characters are such that they wouldn’t disappoint you. On top of that, you will be treated so well with the awesome narration of this book.
