This is not a new series so many of the listeners might have listened to it before. The new thing is the voice of the new narrator named Michael York. York has narrated a number of books from the modern era and this is the first time he has narrated a classic. This is the book that was written by C.S. Lewis almost sixty years ago and since then it has been providing great joy to people of all ages. Four siblings come to a new place because of the war which was surrounding the country.

Peter, Susan, Lucy, and Edmund were different from other kids of their age in the sense that they liked adventures. They were the kind of kids who were not scared of the dark or anything like that. The four of them step through a wardrobe after which they land in a new and strange land called Narnia.

Here the White Witch was controlling everything and she had covered the entire kingdom with snow. When the four human children come to Narnia, there is a talk about prophecy and the rise of the lion they called Aslan. The children were destined to change the fate of the land with their brave deeds and they remain successful after great trials and tribulations.

Mere Christianity is another classic that the author has produced and The Screwtape Letters will not bring boredom either for the fans. Such books provide an escape from real life which is like a must have item these days. People are tired of their routine and robotic life most of the time so they need such stories which can take them away from reality for a while.
