The Last Wish

The Last Wish is a chapter out of The Witcher Saga. It is a science fiction and fantasy novel which is written by Andrzej Sapkowski. He is a fantasy writer from Poland. He is mostly known for his The Witcher novel series and the subject title is part of it. His series was translated into 37 different global languages and that speaks volumes about its quality. It is also the second most translated series of Polish origin. More than 15 million copies of his novels are sold already worldwide. If you are looking for some nonstop science fiction action with guaranteed entertainment then go with his The Time of Contempt novel. Sword of Destiny is an equally good novel by the Polish author.

The audio narration of this chapter is done by Peter Kenny. It was a difficult chapter to narrate as it was not originally written in English. However, Peter was able to capture the essence of the characters quite well and made this audiobook a success.

 

The story of this chapter starts with the Geralt of Rivia who was a witcher. He was also a very cunning sorcerer and a merciless assassin as well. On top of all this, he was a cold-blooded murderer. The sole purpose of the man was to simply destroy all of the monsters who are behind the plaguing of this world. But, all that is monstrous apparently might not be evil as well. At the same time, everything which is fair might not be good too.

The author was just phenomenal with the writing of this story. A good share of credit also goes to Peter Kenny who was just outstanding with his intelligent performance of this novel.
