The Immortal is a paranormal romance novel. It is the second chapter of Rising of the Warlords novel. This book is written by Gena Showalter. She is an American author. You will find the author writing paranormal romance, contemporary romance, and young adult novels. She has so far published more than 70 books where one of which is The Darkest Torment. Another worthy book of the author to mention here is Heart of the Dragon. The audio narration of The Immortal novel is done by Max Bellmore. The narrator gave a stellar vocal performance and the listeners had no objections there.

The novel started well with a decent story but after four hours of narration, it became boring. Even top-quality audio performance couldn’t save it.
