The Highlander’s Touch

Lisa is a 21^st century woman and it means she has a free mind and does not like to work under the supervision of a man especially in the house. She wears clothes according to the latest fashion and lives her life according to the latest standards. The woman has read some history books but she is not interested in the old worn out things which have just passed away. One ordinary day brings her nightmares to reality as she because of a miracle travels seven hundred years back in time and finds herself in the chamber of a Highlander. Lisa sees the naked man in disgust but a second glance changes her thoughts and she feels an appeal like never before in her life for a man. The highlander also gets attracted and wants to have her as his own but his mind is also full of doubts.

There are things which the man cannot understand and he thinks of Lisa as a threat to his land. Karen Marie Moning has done it again here like Faefever and Darkfever as she has portrayed to really confused lovers once again. Both of them just cannot decide what is more important. Lisa wants to return to her fashionable life but the man with a hot body has also started attracting her. The warrior wants to keep his people safe from the outside attacks and thinks of Lisa as a dangerous being but he too has started to develop an obsession for her. With Phil Gigante’s pitch raising in narration after every romantic scene the story reaches an epic conclusion no doubt.
