The Grey Bastards

Bastards is not apparently a group that people can call a team of heroes because they are not dashing. Moreover, they have their link to the corrosive realities of life which make them less innocent. Heroes or not, Jackal and his sworn brothers have decided to save the life of the innocent whether anyone wants it or not. They have not cared about their own life and flesh for the sake of innocent lives.
Jonathan French has portrayed a band of misfits in this story who are determined to achieve their goal at any rate. They don’t care about their own safety because they have nothing to lose at all. Jackal never backs down from a mission and that’s why he has been able to keep Lot Lands in a peaceful state. Suddenly the leader i.e Jackal starts feeling that he has made some kind of mistake.

The Bastards have not been given a proper place on the land and this cannot go on like this forever. As the hero goes in search of answers, he starts confronting realities and enemies which are far more powerful than those that he has faced in the past. Will Damron has narrated the conspiracy in the novel superbly. It is because of the conspiracy that the Bastards get into a dangerous zone.

The True Bastards and The Free Bastards have more stories linked to this group of unsung heroes. They don’t want to achieve worldly pleasures rather they want to work for the people of the land on all occasions. It is a tough job but Jackal is on to it all the time and he has made the other team members committed along with himself.
