Dick saves the life of a woman and her children but this brings more troubles for him. Then they start travelling towards west where they hope to find more innocent humans. On the way they face humans who have lost their humanity and have turned into lawless maniacs. Dick gets saved in the third part but his life does not remain the same later on.
Good Fences and Devil Dog are other fabulous creations to enjoy in the days to come after dealing with this long series present in a single book.
One man in the story does not only fight for a family but he also fights for the good that is still there in the human heart. In the mid of the book, the listener is bound to get in love with the innocent characters of the series.
