The Demon King

Han wanted to solve the problems of his life and quite ironically he falls into a bigger mess. Though he happens to be a thief by profession this is something that he has adopted for the sake of his mother and sister. The money which he earns through these means is basically used to feed his little family. He never wanted to get into big trouble that could make his life more difficult but all of it changes when he ends up with a silver cuff on his wrist after an adventure.

When he reached a certain place for the purpose of stealing some valuable items, he saw that some wizards were doing something strange in that place. From there he got the silver cuffs which later made him run for his life. It was the amulet of the wizards and this brings Han at the center of a big war that he has to fight.

Some take him as the chosen one but only he knows the reality that everything happened accidentally. The writer Cinda Williams Chima and the narrator for the series Carol Monda have started a magical series together. Han has a long way to go and in this first episode, he looks surprised and afraid too at various levels.

The Crimson Crown and The Exiled Queen will provide more details about these magical worlds that the author talks about. No one is going anywhere without a fight in this one so fasten your seatbelts and get ready for the big war which is approaching to you any minute. Han does not rise as a hero at once so give the character some time before he evolves.
