The fate of the entire world hangs in the balance and the only thing which can save the world is the union of four couples. Triton is at war for ages now and the Beast which was awoken during the war has brought havoc to the land. The four couples that were destined to marry are still not together because the thing was not that much easy. Bringing together four men and women of different clans and moods was quite an uphill task. Kristen Ashley has created these eight characters wonderfully well. Each of the characters has his or her personality which is very different from the other.

Moreover, all of them are stubborn and they are not willing to kneel before the need of the hour. But the power and potential of these eight people is the key to success against the Beast that will eat up everything on the land very soon and it has started with the people present on the land. Just like the previous parts this part is narrated by Liz Thompson, Stella Bloom, Gemma Dawson, Robin Miles, Ralph Lister, and Sarah Commer. All the parts of this series are narrated by a huge number of narrators because separate voices were needed for the characters otherwise the impression would have been lost.

It is not the sequel of Dream Spinner or Mystery Man so don’t expect to find any resemblance to those stories. War comes in the later section of the novel as initially, it is about the union of the odd and crazy couples. Much time is utilized to tell about their unification and then finally they prepare for the war together.
