This is your time to travel back in time to the early days of the Pernese history in this first-ever short story collection of Dragonriders of Pern. You will be able to join the original survey team Justas you will discover them exploring in-depth the Pern and resolve to make it one for colonization. There will be the sharing of the evacuation terror from the Southern Continent just as a flotilla of ships braved the Pernese Ocean along with the talking dolphins.
The story of the book is just about fine. You will struggle with the audio performance of Meredith MacRae and will find her extremely difficult to follow with her rigid and low energy tone. If the narration was a little better then this audiobook could have been a very good experience for science fiction lovers with a unique and gripping story.
