The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek

The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek is a historical fiction novel. It is written by Kim Michele Richardson. She is a bestselling author of quite a few wonderful books and one of them is The Book Woman’s Daughter. Other than this, she received great reviews for The Unbreakable Child novel of the author.
The audio narration of The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek is done by Katie Schorr. She did a good job with the narration. The listeners will find her performance to be understandable and believable as she brought the required emotions to the characters as well.
The folks from the Troublesome Creek were known to scrap everything and with the only exception of books. That was all thanks to the Kentucky Pack Horse Library Project of Roosevelt that Troublesome was able to get Cussy Mary Carter, the traveling librarian.

Cussy by no means was just a book woman but she was also the last of her kind. Her skin had a shade of blue which was unlike anyone else or at least the majority of anyone else. Not everyone was that keen on the Library Project of the Cussy family. On top of that, a Blue was most often blamed for any sort of hint of trouble. If Cussy ever wanted to bring in all the joy of the book to the different hill folks then she had to first confront prejudice that was as old as the Appalachians.

The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek is a fantastic tale of fierce strength, raw courage, and the belief of a woman that books have the potential to carry us everywhere. They are even capable of carrying us back home.
