Steven Pacey has done the narration of The Blade Itself and what a performance it turned out to be. The man is surely a master of his craft. The infamous barbarian, Logen Ninegingers finally ran out of luck. He was caught in one dispute too many times and was right at the edge of becoming a dead barbarian. He would leave dead friends, bad songs, and a lot of enemies behind him.

Captain Jezal Luthar was a nobleman, paragon of egotism, and a dashing officer. The only thing on his mind was to cheat his friends at cards and then think of glory in the fencing circle. But, there was war brewing and they fought by the bloodier rules on the battlefields of the North.

Inquisitor Glokta, the torturer would like to have nothing better than to witness Jezal making a return back home in a box. But then Glokta was also known to hate everyone. The latest trail of corpses could lead him to the rotten and weak heart of the government, only if he could manage to stay alive long enough to follow all that. The Blade Itself is the debut novel of Joe Abercrombie which was well received by the audience and the author went on to become a bestseller in New York Times.
