The White Rose according to prophesy has been reborn on the land once again. The female is supposed to have the power of goodness infused in her. But there is a problem i.e if the evil forces get to the White Rose first it will be all over for the Black Company. Thus the Black Company leaves everything aside and goes on one big mission i.e to find the girl before the opponents do.
Glen Cook forms an almost game over situation for the company and then the luck favors them finally and they can get the upper hand. Dreams of Steel and Shadows Linger had big drama and this dramatic genius of the author can be seen in this novel from the start.
At no spot, the fans get the chance to blink because of the intense situation. Marc Vietor’s simple voice in narration remains crystal clear and there was no need for anything else to highlight the story.
