J.R. Ward novels about the Black Dagger Brotherhood have continued to impress many souls globally. Some adults think that there is nothing in it for the kids but the youth has also started to like the characters which in appearance look like monsters. Vampires and other such creatures are present in almost all parts of the series. Love stories that are knit in this series are heart-touching. J.R. Ward has a style of writing love stories, Lover Unveiled and Claimed is pure evidence of the greatness of the author.
Rhage the hero of the novel was leading a perfect life, though in his surrounding the war was getting out of hands he had no worries about it. His mate i.e the beautiful female named Mary was with him and the side which he was supporting in war was thriving. These are the two things that a warrior usually needs in life after all a warrior is not the sort of creature that would love wealth and comfortable life.

The comfort of love was ample for him but a deadly wound in war changed the entire game. When Rhage came to his senses after getting injured in the war he realizes that the world around him has changed suddenly. Mary was not with him as she has gone on a private mission also his side was not on the winning side in war. These two things shatter the life of the warrior completely and he thinks that his days are numbered.

But all of this is not the reality, Mary has been trying to save their love and she still goes to find a solution to their problem. It depends on her returning in time otherwise it would be too late. Narrator Jim Frangione for some time gives a pessimistic tone and then with the return of the mate things get excited once again.
