The Anthropocene Reviewed

John Green is a wonderful writer and the brilliance of the author can be seen in this book. The topic of the book attracts our attention because it is unique. For most people who don’t know the meaning of the word, the author has described a lot at the beginning and he has tried to clarify it fully through narration as well. This is the kind of research in which we analyze the changes that are taking place on the planet because of humans.

According to the author, humans are the strongest of all the living beings present on the planet, and the way they live on the planet surely matters. So for a complete understanding of the changes that have appeared quite recently the author talks about every aspect of our life. From a simple keyboard to a complex machine that we are using, the author talks about everything in this book.

Then he starts talking about the animals that are living in their own habitat around us. So the author wants to paint an entire picture of the ecosystem in front of us before presenting his point of view.

John is of the view that although we are powerful we cannot control the changes which are taking place around us. Things like pandemics can also reshape the life of human beings along with other living beings. The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska also showed us how much interest the author takes in things like this one. This has been the subject of choice for John Green since the beginning.
