In the House of Night, nothing is stable because there are constant disturbances from the outside world. Zoey Redbird is the one who has been fighting against all the odds for her people and her domain. On many occasions, she almost died at the hands of the enemy but still survived so the trust of the people is increasing in her. They think that she can complete any kind of mission and can achieve the impossible for them. It was Stark whose precious life was saved by Zoey and she had to fight with the immortals for this thing.

Now there is more trouble in the town and people are sure that Stevie Rae is behind this. Many of the close ones have warned Zoey not to go to Kalona because the threats are out of her reach. After all, she is not a goddess who can handle everything. Her own life could be lost at the hands of the immortal power but what she can do if the immortal is bringing destruction to everyone she loves.

She has to fight the darkness in its own den and if she does not come out victorious on this occasion then everything will be lost forever. Betrayed had a lot of action in it which was delighting to see and Marked revealed the truth about the chosen one.

This one is about temptation which can weaken any being whether she is the chosen one or not. If Zoey is able to get out of this one alive she will surely prove that she has the power to conquer. P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast can amaze any of the listeners anytime just as they have done in this one. Narration by Cassandra Morris is really unaltered since the beginning.
