Tangled Threads

Tangled Threads is a romantic suspense fantasy. It is the fourth chapter in the Elemental Assassin novel series which is authored by Jennifer Estep. She is an American author of paranormal romance and urban fantasy novels. The Elemental Assassin series and Mythos Academy series are considered to be her best works. You will have a good time with the Conquer the Kingdom novel by the author. The same could also be said about the Only Bad Options novel by Jennifer Estep.

The audio narration of Tangled Threads is done by Lauren Fortgang. She was mostly good with the performance but only at times she felt a little monotonous. I would rather prefer to face a dozen of deadly assassins any given night than deal with something as convoluted, tricky, and fragile as my feelings But, then there I was, Gin Blanco, the partially retired assassin. I was known in my fraternity as the Spider. I was hovering just outside the front door of Owen Grayson just like a very nervous teenage girl. He was an extremely sexy businessman. One thing I highly admired about Owen was that he doesn’t shy away at all from my past, or even my present.

Mab Monroe was a cold-blooded elemental who hired one of the most skilful assassins ever in the business. His target was to trap me. Elektra was quite efficient and smart along with lethal electrical elemental magic which was as potent as my own Stone and Ice powers. It also meant that there was a fifty-fifty chance one of us wouldn’t survive the battle.

Tangled Threads comes with a very good storyline where you will enjoy lots of visual words along with some amazing characters as well.
