The audio narration of this novel is done by Joshua Story. The performance was not really up to the mark. You will find Joshua Story with a very unnatural cadence. On top of that, there were also some significant issues with the pronunciation of the narrator. This didn’t go that well with the audience.
The story in this novel starts with the description of an academy. It is a place where people get the training to tackle mayhem and monsters in the best possible manner. The academy had one huge challenge which was tough even for Gryff to try. The challenge was the final exams. On the positive side, he would capture a big and strong monster and also get a ride around on its very shoulder.
The book is loved for its gripping story and some inspiring characters. A lot of fans of science fiction and fantasy novels had a problem with so many sex scenes in the book. Those were unnecessary and could be avoided easily for ensuring a nice and clean listening experience for the audience.
