Summer Knight

Summer Knight is a suspenseful mystery thriller novel. It is the fourth chapter of The Dresden Files novel series which is written by Jim Butcher. He is a good name when it comes to writing contemporary fantasy novels and The Dresden Files is his most significant work. Among his better novels, you will find Cold Days to be one of them. Other than this, Dead Beat is another masterpiece by the same author.

The audio narration of Summer Knight is done by James Marsters. He is a superb narrator and made this novel and its characters sound so wonderful.

The story in this novel is of Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. He was a highly influential wizard and also a dedicated private eye. He was also quite a wise-cracking kind of a trouble magnet. He was fueled by a great tempest of sleep deprivation, guilt, bad temper, and malnutrition. It was also an issue with his bad temper and his quite awful kind of personal grooming. Harry very quickly was hurtling in the direction of oblivion. As per Harry, that was only his business and nobody should worry about it.

The Winter Queen of Faerie on the other side manipulated him in different ways. The need from him was to accept a case for solving a murder and to stop a war between the courts of Winter and Summer that could lead to some earth-shattering type of consequences.

The story of Summer Knight is not too deep at all and it will be a light, comfortable listen for all in so many ways. The narration is wonderfully done and the author also deserves all the praise.
