Strange Candy

There is nothing better than getting Anita Blake in more than one story in a single book. Anita is the kind of character who is ready to get the job done without any kind of issues in her mind. She does not think a lot when she is committed to action and she is going to fight with anyone who comes her way. Whether she has limited powers or her enemies are stronger than her, these things just don’t bother her.

Laurell K. Hamilton has thrown Anita Blake into situations that were more like suicidal missions but she didn’t show any kind of fear in her mind or on her face. A single mission that existed in Smolder and Crimson Death does not function here rather there are more than one issues that Anita has to face r deal with. In the beginning, it is a woman who is going to marry into a family of wizards and he didn’t take the thing very seriously and problems aroused for her later on.

Later a superhero with name Captain Housework gets the attention of a woman who is ready to do anything for him. Anita must use all her skills in these different missions because all the rivals cannot be dealt with in the same pattern. There is a difference between dealing with a goose and a vampire.

Kimberly Alexis and Holter Graham have narrated all the stories together and they have not selected separate stories for themselves. A team can narrate well only when there is coordination between them and that association can be seen at all levels between these two narrators.
