Emberly’s life has been full of lies because she has been deceived by almost everyone whom she has tried to trust in her life. Normal life is not granted to her since her childhood, though she has tried a lot she has failed to hide from the radar. Her dreams have troubled her a lot and whenever he has tried to look deep into them, she is told that it is all a lie because things like a realm of monsters do not exist.
Monsters are there only in the movies and they can never be real. Spectrum world is just the creation of Emberly’s imagination initially and then she is drawn into it somehow. Here monsters, angel like creatures, and shape shifters are not hard to find. Emberly is taken to a faraway academy that is governed by the group called Nephilim.
Steel happens to be the one who is leading the group that brings Emberly to the academy and he thinks that they have made a serious mistake. The demons who are after Emberly and now coming to the academy and they are trying to cross the threshold the academy. Emberly has powers but she cannot control them so she has to learn how to control them before landing on the battlefield.
Time is running out for her and precious lives can be lost if she does not put all her efforts into the thing. Only Julie Hall could have written such a book because she has depicted such stories in the form of Unleashing Fire and Shadow Angel: Book Two before. The description of the scenery will make you feel amazed, especially because of the narration by Vanessa Moyen and Adam Gold.
