Star Wars: Tempest Runner is a science fiction and fantasy novel. It is a chapter out of the Star Wars: The High Republic novel series. The book is authored by Cavan Scott. He is a freelance author and a comic book writer. He has done some excellent work with spin-offs of Star Wars where Dooku: Jedi Lost (Star Wars) is one of them. Another one from the author of the same series is Star Wars: The Rising Storm (The High Republic).
The audio narration of the book is done by a long cast of characters which is led by Jessica Almasy and Dan Bittner. It was an excellent performance where all of them made considerable contributions in making this book a success.
The Nihil storm fumed right through the galaxy. It left it with grief and chaos all around in its wake. Some of its raiders were as spiteful as The Tempest Runner Lorna Dee. She remained a step ahead of Jedi Order, which was right at the helm of a vessel. It was named after one of the most vicious monsters ever seen in the galaxy. It was none other than the Lorna Dee. However, no one was capable of outrunning the defenders who belonged to the High Republic.
After the complete defeat of her crew, Lorna fell right into the grasp of Jedi. But, all this happened after she concealed her identity and became just another random convict of the Nihil.
You will love to experience the expansion of Star Wars in this incredible way. First, it was the incredible writing of Cavan and Scott and then this amazing collaboration of experienced narrators who made this book a complete entertainment package.
