Fantasy series are hard to write initially because a proper scenario has to be created by the author first after which he starts adding the characters. The characters need to have a proper description in the story because they are not from the real world so we cannot guess anything about them.
Kevin Hearne created this series long ago and now the author has come to the eighth part of the series which shows that the series has been a hit since the first part. It is the presence of the main character that has charmed all of us on every occasion. So the two thousand year old Druid known as Atticus is like the heart of this series.
The series is actually about his struggles in his life for the sake of the people of the land. This time there are a few vampires that are troubling him and Atticus is in need of some support as well. The enemies are coming from all sides and they want to complete their mission by all means.
Theophilus is not backing down this time so Atticus must gear up for the final fight. Atticus’ friends like Owen and Granuaile are in serious trouble and they are not coming to help him. One of them is fighting a few trolls and the other one has a score to settle with Loki. Hounded had an epic ending and this book also takes us to Rome for an awesome war between the two competitors. Do keep in mind Hexed while listening to this story because you might find a few linked tags in it as well.
