Arthur Dent was right back on Earth and had nothing else to show for his strange and long trip through space and time other than a plastic shopping bag and a ratty towel. He was all set to believe that the last eight years of his life were only a figment of his imagination which was quite stressed out.

However, a fishbowl which is gift-wrapped, the unexpected disappearance of the dolphins of the Earth, and finding the battered copy of his popular The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the were quite suspicious. All of these things were conspiring together to provide Arthur with the grassing suspicion that there was something of the otherworldly type going on indeed.

It is only God who knows what does all that meant. A Final Message was fortunately left behind by him with all the explanations.

So Long, and Thanks for All the Time is a must-listen book. It is perfectly written, ideally executed, and extremely beautifully narrated.
