Smoke and Fire

Smoke and Fire is chapter nine of the Dark King’s novel series. This romance novel is written by Donna Grant. Dark Alpha’s Redemption novel from the author is quite special in every way and you will love experiencing it in audio format. A similar experience is guaranteed with her A Dragon’s Tale novel.

The audio narration of this book is done by Antony Ferguson. It was an annoying performance. It was quite weird to experience that the narrator decided on his own to change the pronunciation of the title characters.

Ryder is known to be a computer mastermind and a dragon shape-shifter as well. He was deployed to Glasgow for guarding it after the terrible Dark attack. Then, memories of his explosive affair came chasing him. Ryder was not able to help but he wanted to completely protect the woman who used to haunt him in his dreams.

Kinsey was never able to get to most of Ryder. Every touch of him only left her craving for more and more. But, now she has seen him in his actual form so the world of Kinsey gets completely rocked to its core. She knows it pretty well that to stay and to feel alive, she should be with Ryder. But, is the passion of Kinsey worth taking the chance and the risk of danger which comes with it?

The story of this book is intriguing which will keep you entertained throughout this book. The characters were good and excellently developed in this title as well. However, the main letdown in this audiobook is the poor narration where the performer was particularly bad with the pronunciation.
