Sins of Empire

Fatrasta is the land where it is evil everywhere and in this situation keeping the peace intact is tough for those on the higher seats. The city of Landfall is facing things like mutiny now and then and the government is trying to deal with it with an iron fist. Till now it is succeeding but if things continue in this fashion the government would not be able to hold on with everything for a very long time.

The peace will start shattering and lawlessness will rise further making the life of a common man a living hell. Rebel groups are not the only thing that the government has to control in the current situation as an old evil is trying to rise to the surface too which will engulf all the goodness in the world.

Lady Vlora Flint, Michel Bravis, and Mad Ben Styke are hired to deal with the situation. The three are experts in their fields but the problem has just started slipping out of the hands this time for the empire. Brain McClellan describes full chaos on the land at the start of the series along with the introduction of the heroes.

Struggles are also there in books like Promise of Blood and The Crimson Campaign the only difference in this book is that the heroes don’t seem to be winning. In the end, they do succeed in winding up the things but the root cause is not destroyed completely. That’s why narrator Christian Rodska does not end in a joyous mood. The seriousness on the face of the heroes is never gone because they know what lies ahead.
