Sin & Lightning

Sin and Lightning is an urban paranormal romance novel. It is the fifth book in the Demigods of San Francisco Series. The book is written by K. F. Breene who is an awesome author of paranormal romance and fantasy stories. You will find the author at her best in Magical Midlife Challenge and Magical Midlife Alliance novels. The audio narration of the Sin & Lightning novel is done by Khristine Hvam. She did a perfect job and that added to the story of the book.

One thing became quite clear to Kieran and Alexis. If they had any hope to last in the arena of the Demigods, they would need to have a much more robust defense team. They must take on a couple of immensely dangerous journeys while seeking the prized talents that the other Demigods would kill for. The only exception was that there was a reason the other Demigods do not have those magical workers. They were found to be as ruthless as they were dangerous. The very last thing that they could afford was to be on the team of Demigods.

If that wasn’t enough, Alexis had also received an invitation from Demigod Lydia. She was the only Hades Demigod who had not openly declared war. She was talking as if they were allies. But those of Hades could never be trusted. A trap was there which was just as likely as a handshake. Still, it was a chance that they must consider taking. But remember, any of those trips could well be their last.

The subject title is wonderful, original, and refreshing. The author deserves all the appreciation and so does the narrator of the book.
