This is the series in which there was only one Druid in the first part and for a major part of the series, Atticus was the only Druid in the story. For two thousand years, this Druid has maintained balance in the world with the help of his sword. His enemies are in large quantity and he has been able to keep their heads down in all kinds of circumstances. Kevin Hearne i.e the man who created the series wanted to end the loneliness of the Druid in this part so he has added two more Druids to the show.

One is Granuaile who happens to be their apprentice of Atticus. Atticus has taught her everything and now she is fully ready to live a life on her own. There is also another Druid whose name is Owen and he has been extracted from ice. Atticus found Owen long ago when he was in a frozen condition.

Now Owen is back in his real state but he has some issues in settling into this world which has progressed a lot. Owen does not know how to speak English and he has some issues with the use cell phone. Some think that Owen would never be able to fight Loki but Atticus does not think that way.

Meanwhile, Luke Daniels narrates Granuaile’s character who has some issues of her own to deal with. Granuaile’s father has been trapped in a strange kind of magic and she is ready to do anything to save him. Hounded and Tricked lacked so many Druids while here the author has introduced a trio for the big action. The three possess their own issues as well but they are ready to help each other in their time of need.
