Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell

Shadows For Silence In The Forests Of Hell Audiobook

Kate Reading has developed herself into a classic narrator in the past few years and she was duly needed for a story like this one by Brandon Sanderson. Sanderson is a renowned fiction writer with stories like Words of Radiance and Cytonic under his belt. So creating a story of this status was not quite difficult for the author still he had to invest a lot of time in Silence Montane’s character because it is around her the entire story revolves.

Silence lives close to the forest of hell in which the shades are hiding all the time. The shades are said to be attracted by blood and flames. Also going out in the forest at night is the worst mistake any human being can make because the shades can eat you up any minute in this way. Silence has had no good relation with all the rules since her childhood and she has broken the rules related to the shades on a couple of occasions in the past.

She was lucky that she didn’t get caught but this time she wants to do that again intentionally. Her family gets into danger and rules are not more important to her than her family. Silence shows commitment to save her family even if this deed of hers, changes her into a shade permanently.

Painting such strong female characters was a big task for Sanderson because he has worked more on the male characters in the past. This female character seems to be stronger than men on various occasions especially when she comes face to face with the shades without any fear in her heart.
