Terry Mancour and Emily Burch Harris start a news story about a new legacy in this long novel. Gatina belongs to an average family in this novel still she thinks that there is something serious linked to her family. There are clear hints that she receives on different occasions about the secret past of her family. However, no one in the family now bothers to discuss that because it has turned into a thing of the past.
Fiona Hardingham also gives a plane voice to Gatina’s character initially and then the action takes over. The duke and duchess of the land are slaughtered in a serious way which brings the action back to Ashar. The duke and duchess were closely attached to Gatina’s family which means that her family gets into trouble as well.
Gatina is told that her family is Shadowmagi and happens to be quite talented in the act of stealing things. Thus her training begins and she finds herself on the street which means that her previous life is now gone. The evil is coming to the land and it is on Gatina and her family to protect the land once again as they have done in the past. Hedgewitch and Warmage carry the same kind of themes in them so these books are awesome for new beginners.
The action begins from the initial chapters and then it continues till the last line of the story. The enemy keeps on working from behind the shadows in this novel and it gets fully revealed at the climax. Gatina thinks that she is not ready for all of this but in the end, her emergence as a hero just stuns everyone. J
