Nicoletta was a terrified teenager when her life was saved by Taviano and his brother. Ever since she has been trying hard to rise above whatever was done to her. She molded herself into a survivor while being under the extremely protective eyes of the Ferraro family. All that while, she had been hopelessly falling in love with the man who knew about her darkest secrets.

Taviano knew that Nicoletta was all his in every way. No matter, how much he wanted to claim her, he knew very well that she needed some time to become her own woman. When Nicoletta found herself in the grasp of dangerous men once again, a quick decision had Taviano breaking all the rules of the Ferraro family, just to keep her safe. As far as he was concerned, the reward for that was much more than worth the risk.

Shadow Flight tells an original and interesting story. The narration was spectacular as well. However, the editing of the book is poorly done as there were a few instances of missing chapters reported.
