Royal Dragon

Royal Dragon is a paranormal romance novel. It is the first installment in The Bride Hunt novel series. The book is written by Charlene Hartnady. You must check out the Dragon Prince novel by a bestselling American author which wouldn’t disappoint you at all. Another book by the author to mention here is Forbidden Dragon.

The audio narration of Royal Dragon is done by Stella Bloom and Sebastian York. The narration was fine. It could have been better if the female narrator was allowed to do all the female voices.

Dragon shifters were known to be a dying breed. There were only a few females left and if drastic measures were not taken then it would be all over for the dragon species. The threat of extinction was looming. King Blaze eventually accepted that there was no other option left but to simply evoke an old tradition: The Hunt.

The highly eligible dragon shifter males must look to hunt a handful of the females. It was the case of a first catch, first, serve. The main problem was that the females were human. Despite the feedback to the contrary, Coal thought that they were unbreakable and weak. In his opinion, they were not capable enough to survive the hunt, let alone the mating that would follow. He had no belief that a lowly human was capable enough of birthing him a royal heir, so why had his brother, the king asked him with the claiming one?

The Royal Dragon book is way too vulgar and the character development was also not up to the mark. The story had great potential but it just didn’t reach it as such.
