The mage Alex had gone all the way from a shopkeeper in Camden to becoming one of the most resourceful mages in entire Britain. The most dangerous and ultimate battle was coming closer. The life mage Anne was his lover who came under complete control of that deadly creature with whom she had a bargain. It was all prepared to set up a large force of the mages that will be subject to its every whim.

Alex Verus, Richard, Drakh, and the Council agreed for calling a truce within their ongoing war. There were many plans devised there to go for a joint attack. But, Alex knew that it was just about time when the Council and the dark mage Drakh would simply turn on each other.
