Renegade

Renegade is the opening chapter of the Spiral Wars novel series. It is a science fiction and fantasy novel which is written by Joel Shepherd. He is an accomplished Australian writer of science fiction and fantasy novels. He has been a student of film and TV arts with a degree from Curtin University. He brought some great flavor to his writing which differentiate him from his contemporary writers from different parts of the world. If you want to know about his best work then it is arguably his Kantovan Vault novel. After this, you will also love to experience his Drysine Legacy novel which is equally as good as the first recommended title and the subject chapter.

The audio narration of the book is done by John Lee. He has got a very soothing voice and also has the talent to voice-act for any type of characters in the stories. His performance in this book was appreciated by all and this is something that you want to experience in all books of the science fiction genre.

One thousand years well after the time when planet Earth was destructed in a high-scale and unprovoked attack, mankind emerged victorious eventually. They had to go through a series of terrible combats to assure their place in the wider galaxy. But, during the celebrations of mankind on their new homeland, Captain Pantillo of Phoenix carrier was first court-marshaled and then killed. Lt. Commander Erik was his deputy and he was framed for his murder.

The book is a PG-13 type. It doesn’t have sex scenes but there is a lot of foul languages used with lots of F-words. Many of the ship-to-ship battles along with a few close-quarters combats would make an interesting listen for you.
